STYLE: Inspired to reimagine the everyday kimono as an art canvas with something Balinese: erratic drip dyeing technique using blue inks from Bali plants. Selected eco-responsible Tencel Lyocell for the fluid proportions and supple drape. Finishing touches include wide shawl, rolled tab, in-seam side pockets, underarm split, and 2-meter self-fabric cord belt. Does not include the black and white belt. Style it as indoor and indoor layering, a wrap top with belt, in long or short sleeves. Tips: Pull down the back collar for a partly backless appeal. Japanese always wear kimono with the left side wrapped over right.
NATURE: 💙 Indigo from strobilanthes cusia leaves. Artisanal plant dyeing is our way of caring for you, artisans, and mother earth as it is non-polluting, requires no harsh chemicals, and done without rushing. Fabric: Tencel Lyocell™, a sustainable fiber made in renewable production cycles that is soft, lightweight, and translucent.
