What does your clothing say about you?
We believe that clothing has a magical way of bringing us together as people.
Every piece in our Worldjama collection is made using traditional fabrics or manufacturing techniques from different cultures around the globe. By using these beautiful, timeless fabrics across cultures, we hope that you’ll find a deeper connection between you, your clothes, and the artisans that created them.
Here's some more information on our inaugural collections:
Batik from Indonesia
The striking batik art form of Indonesia was our original source of inspiration for Love Stories Bali. Batik’s intricate, hand-drawn patterns are so tied to Indonesian culture that it was designated a UNESCO Masterpiece of Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity in 2009.
Our Indonesian collection includes batik that we sourced directly from world’s batik city, Yoghakarta and the town of Lasem, where batik has strong Chinese influence.
Cotton from Japan
The world of Japanese textiles is stunning in its complexity and beauty. Our Japanese Worldjama collection features 100% Japanese cotton with symbolic prints like Japanese Sakura, Parasol, Karakusa and Dragons. We are also featuring Double-Gauze cotton in solid colors with denim-pattern and prints.
