A Love Story of Giving
Selly was in her early 20's when she founded Enigma in 2016. We love having Selly's creations in the shop not only because she shares our values for social and environmental responsibility but also because her simple and minimalist design balances our optimistic bright pieces. Her mission is impressive: to keep artisanal craft skills alive while elevating the livelihood of indigenous artisans in remove villages. She works with elderly and emerging artisans in Central Java and Bali using only natural fiber, plant dyeing, handloom weaving, embroidery, hand screenprinting, and other indigenous craftsmanship. Selly focuses on accessories inspired by her affection between art and textile.
- Made for longevity so you can wear it a lot - you bet, it can take in most of the things you need from the drawer.
- Size: Width: 16in * 40cm. Length: 13in * 32cm.
- Care for long-lasting plant-dye: Cold hand wash or machine wash with like colors. Use eco-friendly or gentle detergent. Air dry in the shade or tumble dry low. Dry clean not recommended as natural dyes react to heavy synthetic chemicals. Plant dyed colors will fade if left in the sun for a long time and washed in hot water. Mend when torn.
