You're investing in upcycling

Well-travelled one-off skirt made from used denim skirt and an old, unused handpainted batik from an avid batik collector, all pumped up to be loved again - by the edgy you.

We know your friends will be asking so get ready to tell the upcycling story below.

100% cotton: both batik tulis and denim skirt

A Love Story of Giving

Laura from Switzerland donated the mini denim skirt because it doesn't fit her anymore while living in Bali. "It was given to me by my friend Ornella many years ago who loved it so much but one day XS didn't fit her anymore. And she knew I love secondhands," she said.

Ani from Yogyakarta, living in Bali, got us the vintage but unused batik tulis from her friend who is a batik collector in Yogyakarta. We later discovered a defect but we loved it so we kept it.

When you invest on this eclectic skirt, what about connecting with Laura @sutterlaura and Ani @anihimawati and spread more love. They will be happy to hear from you.

We created an elegant wrap-around skirt with the batik tulis (minus the defect) and jazzed it up with the back of the denim skirt and two front pockets taken from the back of the skirt. Voila!
