Who makes our pajamas

Made with joy in Bali in a family-environment workshop proudly owned and managed by Ratna, an empowered Balinese woman, who was 22 years old when she started the business. They are crafted in small quantities by a small community of long-tenured local artisans who enjoy fair wages, and safe, clean and respectful working conditions.

    Meet Vionne

Our beautiful Japanese collection is inspired by Love Stories Bali's secret critic and lover of all things Japanese, Vionne. Although based in Hong Kong, you’ll frequently find Vionne on the streets of Japan indulging in their lifestyle, taste for quiet elegance, and love and respect for traditions.

FeelGood was born of a single dream: to let your pajamas be both beautiful and meaningful.

In the Summer of 2016, we had a serendipitous meeting that would change our lives forever. Far away from our global corporate lives in New York and Hong Kong, we found ourselves in remote West Bali where we met Agnes, a local woman who made and sold handmade jewelry to fund her pre-Kindergarten school - Paud Cemara Kasih - for children born into poverty.

Seeing how someone like Agnes, with no money and no support, could make such an impact on the lives of so many children was a revelation. We asked themselves: Can we do something to help Agnes reach her goals, but also create our own way to spread happiness and love to the world? In that moment, the dream of FeelGood was born: to create pajamas that are not just beautiful, but meaningful.

With every pajama sold, we at FeelGood will be able to continue to support the early education of Balinese children at Agnes’ school.

We are an online boutique with a mission: to create Pajamas with Purpose. To move beyond just typical sleepwear and create something that is both beautiful and meaningful. Every piece of our pajama is handcrafted at high standards of workmanship by a small community of Balinese artisans using ethically sourced fabrics and traditional techniques in a respectful and family environment and at fair wages. The pajamas are not just beautiful, but clothing that truly furthers our mission of Pajamas with Purpose: Stylish. Long-lasting. Loving.

Together, let’s make the world a better place.

    With gratitude,

    Tess and Lisa, Co-Founders

P.S. As one philanthropist said, “The art of living is the art of giving. You’re fulfilled in the moment of giving, of doing something beyond yourself.” This quote inspires us at FeelGood, and we hope it inspires you, too.
