Batuan black-and-white style originated in Bali in the 30's and today is one of the three categories that differentiates the forms of Balinese art. ARTIST PAK SADIA: Coming from a family in Batuan village who is well-known to be masterpainters of Batuan painting and exhibitors in museums in Bali, Pak Sadia commits to preserve, pass on the legacy, and blossom the future heir of this village treasure by continuously training talented children in the village.
