STYLE: A craftcore luxury, exquisitely handwoven with plant dyed cotton yarns with muted yet uplifting plant colors. One scarf took roughly 112 hours to complete - one checker at a time, one color at a time - over 10 processes, all by hand, no machines. Embellished with small rectangular holes, symbolizing their village weaving signature. Enjoy it as a statement scarf or shawl, or even a bed runner, or sofa throw. Or treat it as art - hang it and preserve it. ▪️Handwoven with backstrap loom in the village of Pejeng, Bali, by Putu (namesake) and her team of traditional women weavers. Their joy in experiencing weaving, for the first time, with plant dyed threads inspired them to engage all village weavers in learning plant-dyed-threads weaving and expand their repertoire even further. We love for the Pejeng weavers to have access to global market. 

EARTHY: Plant dyed with extracts from Bali's 🖤 ketapang leaves 💛 mango leaves ❤️ sappan wood 🤎 coconut husks 💚strobilanthes and mango leaves  Plant dyeing in Bali is a primitive craft we love for its non-polluting process.  Fabric: mid-weight, handspun, handwoven cotton. 

Care to Last: cold handwash, mild detergent, dry in the shade, do not dry clean as its heavy chemicals mess up plant dyes. Mend when torn.
